I am getting very tired of this.
The battle to achieve recognition of my degree/acceptability of my MSc/state registration continues.
I phoned the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS) today with a minor query, only to be told that they have no record of me whatsoever. I have been in contact with the IBMS and its predecessor the Health Professionals Council regularly over the last year. They have written to me frequently and until today I thought I had managed to sort out all the problems so that I could begin my MSc and in two years time become State Registered.
Now it looks like I might have to start this battle all over again.
Feh!
I am sorely tempted to just tell them where they can stuff State Registration. You would never guess from the way that they behave that there is a crisis-level shortage of State Registered Biomedical Scientists in this country.
