Yep, that was a nice way to spend an afternoon :-)
We went to the Windmill pub and had lunch with the lovely arachne and madderz. Good company and good food, what more could you want?
Following lunch we went to Forbidden Planet where I picked up The Ancient by Muriel Gray, The Emperor of Dreams by Clark Ashton Sm,ith and a disturbingly cute black and silver cuddly baby Cthulhu.

Tonight has been made enjoyable by Almond M&Ms and Soylent Green.

I'm amazed that I have never seen that movie before. A truly bleak vision of the future. Rates alongside 1984 and Brave New World as images of how things will hopefully not turn out.

I have no idea why Almond M&Ms are not available in this country. They are delicious and far more toothsome than the lowly peanut variety.
