In other news, the revision is going ok. I've focused on serous fluids (particularly malignant mesotheliomas) and respiratory tract cytology today.
This means that I still have the dreaded head and neck cytology to go over. For anyone who is interested head and neck cytology is a pain because the cells in the aspirates rarely show overtly malignant features. So the diagnosis has to be based upon architectural features and, frequently, the number of cells present.

I have also smoked far too many cigarettes today.
