Just been to see The Manchurian Candidate. It was a surprisingly decent way to spend an evening. A decent standard of acting, a plot without too many gaping holes in it and no over reliance on special effects to compensate for lack of plot. Yep, definitely a pleasant way to kill two hours.

And please welcome my friend and flatmate [livejournal.com profile] al_overdrive to LJ land :-)

I'm having a quick clean out and have come up with a few books that I no longer want.

If any of you want them shout, £2-3 pounds each or will happily swap.

James Herbert - Once
Andy Hamilton & Alistair Beaton - Drop TheDead Donkey 2000
David Eddings - The Losers
Caleb Carr - The Alienist
Michael Crichton - The Lost World
Michael Moorcock - Count Brass
Michael Moorcock - The Champion of Garathorm
Michael Moorcock - The Quest For Tanelorn
Michael Moorcock - The Eternal Champion
The Moorcock books are all the original 70's edition paperbacks.
