Realisation

Jude slipped on the stairs earlier and made his nose bleed. Not really a big deal, but for a couple of seconds when I heard the thump of him falling followed by his scream I thought my heart had stopped beating.
I haven't really got anything else to say. I suppose I was just shocked by the strength of my reaction.
Oh My God I'm A Parent!

My Gizmo is also immensely fat. When you first see her she looks like she has long fluffy hair. Then you look closer and realise that she has short hair, and her stomach is actually dragging along the floor :-)

Oh ew! Poor thing! Put her on a diet! WE had to do that with one of our cats...feed him 'diet' cat food from the vet. Chrrrrrrrist he was fucking immense!

Other uncle and aunt have Puff, this cat with this tiny head and paws and tail, really small, and this IMMENSE body. She looks so farcical!

Shes not actually my cat. If she was i would have had her on a diet a long time ago. She belongs to my landlady, who insists on spoiling her and overfeeding her; despite me advising against it:-(

yeah, it's not good for the cat. I mean, if her stomach is actaully dragging on the floor...well, I'm reminded of some Garfield comics when he attacks a giant bag of food and has to be wheeled around...kinda pathetic really.
