Two good nights

Ok, Thursday night. I finished work and shot off into London to meet up with Glen (the man responsible for the London bus maps, well partly, and good friend) in the Dev. After grabbing the Dreaded one I headed off to the Purple Turtle to meet up with Karen, Julia and, I was hoping, assorted #uk_goff types.
We found Karen and Julia waiting for us and proceeded to engage in some pre-christmas drinkies (well that was my excuse anyway).
I ended up having a fairly enjoyable night, spent some time chatting to kgoth and met blankinfinity and kixie. Although I was disappointed by the lack of dancing.
diffrentcolours was also there, it was strange seeing him after all thats happened in the last couple of days. I still find it very odd that we can get on in person, whilst so much crap is going on around us.
Anyway finally got home at 1ish and got far too little sleep before work.
Friday night was lovely. After the usual long and tedious journey to Oxford, I arrived to be greeted by a happy bouncy, avalon_bliss who proceeded to proudly display her new tattoo. She rocks.
We spent the evening collapsed on the sofa watching Wayne's World and being soppy at each other. Then off to bed for an early night.

So off we go to Cheltenham to see Big Chris and the rest of the deranged rabble who make up the 'Nam crew. I can't wait *Grin*
