A night at the pub
Jan. 12th, 2002 12:17 pmI'm feeling a lot more perky now. Last night, after a little gentle encouragement, I headed down to the Nightingale to meet up with Karen, Lloyd and Craig. We sat around and aimlessly talked rubbish at each other for hours. It was lovely, it felt like we were back in Oxford and just hanging out without anything to bother us. Most worrying moment of the night was when we had a long discussion about parenthood and mortgages, we are *so* growing up. *sigh* At least I have good friends to do it with.
This morning I did something I haven't done for a long time, I just lay in bed for a couple of hours feeling warm and fluffy and thinking. Thanks to this I'm feeling very positive. There are no problems in my life that are unsolvable, and really I have nothing to worry about. I have just been falling into a nasty little depressive spiral, fortunately I have realised this. No bastards gonna get me down *Perk*
Now I'm going to Sainsbury's for the amazing budget shop. On the way I'll swing past the farmers market and get myself tipsy on free samples of mead :-)
