Does anyone else think that 'Fools Gold' by the Stone Roses is a bit over rated? I'm not saying that its a bad song, it just annoys me that it is the tune that always gets mentioned when people are discussing the Roses and its the only one of their songs which ever gets played in clubs or on the radio. In my opinion they produced other material (Elephant Stone, Made of Stone, Waterfall, Bye Bye Badman, etc) which was far superior and hardly ever gets played or mentioned. I have a suspicion that I am in the minority on this one. Oh well.
