I just ate one third of a Daim cake. I now feel very full and satisfied :-)

We spent the evening testing out the DVD player on the X-Box by watching Antitrust.
I'll admit that I wasn't expecting to like this movie, it sounded geeky and to be honest a tad dull.

I like it when I am proved wrong. The film was gripping and tense right from the start. It was well acted and had a good script. The plot was free from the obvious holes found in many big movies (I'm probably very wrong about this from a tech point of view, but what the hell. I'm not a geek) and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The "Human knowledge belongs to all mankind" line worked nicely and is something that I agree with, in theory at least. Unfortunately the average intelligence of the population of this planet is far too low to make it practical in real life.

*Yawn*
I feel a bit splatty this morning. This probably has something to do with being woken up by Avalon at 3:00am and mistakenly reading the bedside clock as saying 8:00am, so my body started to go through its wake up routine. Due to this the rest of the nights sleep was very patchy.

In other news I have recieved a letter from the University of Westminster with the details of my induction day. The good news is that it doesn't start untill 12:00 and finishes in the Student Union :-) The bad news is that I need to get some passport photos taken. No matter how hard I try I almost invariably look like a complete spanner in passport pictures. Oh well, maybe this time I'll manage to get some I'm happy with.
