Help please

I woke up this morning with this phrase going through my head.

We burn through this life; not as dying embers but as stars

I don't recognise it and neither does Google. Is it familiar to any of you, or is my subconsciousness having another of its periodic attempts at poetry?

I would also like to say again how much I am loving the tune Drunken Lullabies by Flogging Molly. jezebel_z I reckon you might enjoy it as well :-)
