...although knowing the people on my flist I do wonder how easy it is going to be to spot the difference.

I've just spoken to Sal. She is alive and well, but likely to be spending at least another day in hospital and then probably a few weeks off work.

The doctors have apparently come to the conclusion that she is suffering from something caused by an inappropriate immune response.

They are still carrying out further tests. But appear to think that it will get better.

On the bright side it is now looking less likely that she has the plague :-)
