We leave our full bin bags in the back garden until Wednesday night when we put them out for the bin men. I went to get them earlier and found them crawling with loads of white things which appeared to be insect larvae of some kind. They were about a centimeter long and very active, does anyone have any ideas about what they were or where they came from? (They were definitely no maggots).
Then as if this was not disgusting enough I walked back into the kitchen and stepped on a slug with my bare foot, Eugh!
And to top it off, Avalon has come down with some manner of illness. Obviously just one of those pox-ridden nights :-(

On an unrelated note: Why has no one created flying monkeys yet?

That's a puzzle, can't think of anything at present. I'll consult my reference library when I get home tonight.

BTW, nicely spelt....always wondered how to get the right impact when writing things like 'Eugh'.

It has been puzzling me all day, but I'm feeling too lazy to do the research needed to find out what they were. Maybe I'll get round to it tomorrow :-)
