I've been meaning to read The Hero With A Thousand Faces for years. I finally started it today after buying myself a copy for christmas. After finishing the first chapter on the bus I'm starting to see why people make such a fuss about it. I'm glad that I've finally gotten around to reading something other than fiction. I normally only read fiction when I'm relaxing, due to the vast amounts of non-fiction I have to read for my job/course. This leads to me associating fiction with fun and non-fiction with work. Obviously this means that I miss out on all kinds of fascinating books. Maybe I'll manage to break the cycle and start reading more about some of the subjects that interest me outside of biology/pathology.
On a different note, have a meme :-)
What five things would you tell someone who didn't know me, if they asked you about me? Or just list five things you know about me, I'm not fussed. (It doesn't have to be five. Three would do.)
