How do you get peope's names up onto messages so they can click to your name, e.g. if was writing about you, how do I get zeke_hubris up so people can go to your site? Do you understand what I mean?

To get the little user icon whatsits you need to type < lj user=whatever > but leave the spaces out. It is explained better here.
