Mar. 22nd, 2003 12:06 amI just finished watching Vanilla Sky and I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't know anything about the plot of the movie, so I came to it with no expectations except for my slight dislike of Tom Cruise and the knowledge that it was a big 'Hollywood' film. I ended up really enjoying it. The plot did seem slightly familiar, but I think that was due to having read a lot of cyberpunk stories that deal with similar ideas, and the soundtrack was pretty much flawless.
