I'm not really in the mood for clubbing this weekend, but I do need to go out and do something. I'm vaguely considering going to the Dev tomorrow night. Would any of you be interested in joining me for a drink there (or somewhere else if the Dev doesn't appeal)?

Also, what bands would you consider to fall within the genre 'Deathrock'?

I shall almost definitely be at the Dev tomorrow evening to celebrate new flat. See you there?

Hah, Deathrock - the very concept scares me, but I don't know what bands it covers ;)

Deathrock is basically the american roots of Goth. WHereas it came out of punk in the uk it came out of rockier climes in the US. I think bands like Skelital Family, 45 Grave, Alien Sex Fiend, Misfits were an influence too,

Has it's roots in rockabilly/psychobilly stuff too.

Sounds good. Email the sluts and you might be able to rassle up a bit of a binge crew. I may be around as I'm currently in "flyer b1tch" mode for VICIOUS.
