Zeke

Literal meaning
    "No, look - it moved."

History
    At first the medical term for a specific congenital deformity under the Marquis of Bute, the name Zeke was originally used charmingly to refer to a famous sect of surly, pilfering domestic servants, before being pulled from a fire that killed its variants and diminutives.

    1. Zeke Oily, co-habitee of two people associated with Tramp Drink; ghost-writer of Mr Grimsdale's anarchist's handbook and autobiography, MY STRUGGLE;
    2. Zeke F O'Dots, named in court as holding compromising material concerning the self-aware cartoon strip;
    3. Zeke N Trabmaw ("The Terrible"), belittler of Explode-O, the wonder bang dismantler;
    4. Zeke Proms-Lonfial, proponent of paroxysms of fright;
    5. Zeke Cangoose-Lilly Li ("The Mighty"), populariser of Mr Bronson from Grange Hill;
    6. Zeke Frote, haunted by an image of the constellation of Pleiades;
    7. Judge Zeke Nootlooter, opponent of the everlasting trouser;
    8. Zeke Tidecatcher-Happenstance ("The Suspicious"), co-writer of INDIANA JONES AND THE FAIRLY BIG THING;
    9. I Am Zeke Z Nivea-Jesus, who owes everything to the hovering cinema;
    10. Doctor Zeke de Marl, for a time, in their own mind, romantically linked with Elvis impersonator impersonators; ghost-writer of Richard Stilgoe's religious handbook and autobiography, THERE'S SOME PHOTOS IN THE MIDDLE; first holder of the office of King High Wizard Of Ipswich.

Typical Zeke motto

    "I'm sure I had it this morning."
