A really nice concept pinched off d_floorlandmine.

I know very little about some of the people on my Friends list. Some people I know relatively well. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say, 'Ah, there's so and so - she likes office supplies and hentai.'

I'd love it if every single person who Friended me would do this (although I hardly expect this to happen). Yes, even you people who I know really well.

When I was a child I used to spend whole days with my friends devising new ways to dismember and otherwise torture crane flies. We once filled an entire 1 litre glass lemonade bottle with them after pulling the wings and legs off of one side on them all. Then we set fire to them.

I'm expecting the karmic retribution to be quite severe, so I try to make the most of this life ;)

My life seems to surge through some very strongly defined phases. To a large extent, they're defined by who I'm emotionally and/or physically involved with at the time. If I'm not involved in a regular sexual relationship with someone I care about then I tend get very depressed quite easily. I still haven't worked out of if this is a character flaw or a character feature.

Mostly I just view it as a good reason to look out for fun people to get involved with :)

My personal motto is 'carpe diem'. It's far from original, but some things become cliches for good reason.
